Graduate Jobs : HTET Teacher Eligibility Recruitment in Goraul, Bihar 2026
The School Education Board, Haryana has announced the commencement of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2023 registration process. Candidates can apply online at htet.eapplynow.com. The last date for application correction is set for 4-5 January 2026, and the examination will be conducted on 17 and 18 January 2026.
HTET Exam Levels
The HTET exam is conducted in three levels for various teaching positions:
Level I: Primary Teacher (PRT) for classes 1-5.
Level II: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for classes 6-8.
Level III: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) for higher secondary classes.
Educational Qualification
Level I (PRT): 12th pass with minimum 50% marks along with 2-year Elementary Education Diploma. Alternatively, B.El.Ed or Graduation with 2-year Elementary Education Diploma. Final year students may also apply.
Level II (TGT): Graduation with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject along with BTC/JBT/D.Ed/D.El.Ed. or B.El.Ed in the relevant subject.
Level III (PGT): Post Graduation in relevant subject with B.Ed degree.
Age Limit
Minimum: 18 years, Maximum: 38 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a written examination conducted offline. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in both Hindi and English. There is no negative marking.
